Your Responsibilities

As a Safety Coordinator, you will coordinate, develop, and follow up on the systematic safety work within the Technical and Property Administration. You will translate legal requirements and municipality-wide directives into clear routines, priorities, and working methods that function in daily operations. The role is coordinating and developmental, with a focus on structure, methodology, support, and follow-up.

In this role, you will, among other things:

• lead and coordinate work on risk and vulnerability analyses, continuity, as well as crisis and war preparedness.
• plan and conduct training and exercises, and provide support to managers and operations on safety issues.
• prepare documentation, follow up, and report on safety work to management, the board, and the municipal administration.
• coordinate and develop working methods within security protection, information security, physical security, and safety issues.
• ensure that safety requirements are considered early in projects, procurements, properties, and facilities, as well as during events and incident follow-ups.

Your Qualifications

We are looking for someone with the ability to plan and structure with precision, break down complex assignments into annual cycles, routines, and follow-ups, and maintain the strategic big picture. You translate directives into concrete reality, set standards, and ensure the right issues are handled at the right level. Your communication is clear and open, and since the role operates without strong line authority, your ability to collaborate is crucial. You take others' perspectives seriously and make safety work function through others, not alone.

Requirements

• Relevant higher education in safety, preparedness, risk management, civil protection, public administration, or equivalent.
• Several years of experience coordinating safety work in a complex organization.
• Experience in driving cross-sectoral issues across organizational boundaries.
• Demonstrated experience in writing analyses, plans, routines, guidelines, and decision-making documents.
• Experience in educating and influencing without formal line authority, and translating regulations into practically executable working methods.
• Driver's license B, excellent Swedish in speech and writing, and good ability to work in M365/Office.

Merits

• Experience of safety work in the public sector, essential services, or regulated environments, such as municipalities, regions, authorities, rescue services, or property and infrastructure companies.
• Experience in security protection, information security, continuity, civil defense, or crisis preparedness.
• Experience in safety issues, crime prevention, personnel security, staff work, and/or projects/tasks with safety requirements.
• Education in security protection, information security, continuity, crisis preparedness, SBA, or physical security.
• Experience with SharePoint, Teams, or similar.
• Experience with systems for incident, injury, or deviation management, as well as experience working in a classified security environment.
